Olivia Wolf may be a new name on the Americana scene, but chances are you already know her roots. Born Olivia Hellman, her grandfather founded San Francisco’s beloved Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and she’s been singing in family bands since long before a music career ever crossed her mind. After building a successful business as a fine art photographer and graphic designer, Wolf found herself writing songs in the wake of a heartbreaking personal tragedy, and used that creative process as a way out of her darkness. Wolf currently lives and records on Hummingbird Hill outside of Nashville. Her debut EP, The Hummingbird Sessions: Volume 1, produced by Colin Linden, is now available on iTunes and streaming wherever you get your digital music.
